Work at OBYG

For decades, OBYG is proud to be the first job of many Fire Islanders. We also employ certified teachers and coaches for our director positions. Please create a staff dashboard here and fill out an application.

We follow the New York State Board of Health age requirements for summer camp employees. For anyone turning 15 in 2024, please enroll on a parent dashboard as a CIT. For those turning 16, you can apply to be a junior counselor, or a supervised junior counselor, depending on experience and CIT training. Anyone over 18 can apply for a head counselor or director position.
