Robbins Rest FAQ

Q: How does my child get to and from camp?

A: We provide transportation to and from the main Fair Harbor dock by Le Dock at approximately 8:45 am and 3:15 pm. These times will be confirmed closer to the start of camp. All parents must opt-in for text messaging through Campsite so we can communicate easily regarding time and weather updates.

Q: Is there an extra fee for this?

A: No, however because our camp closes from 12-1 pm for lunch daily, you must enroll your child in our supervised bag lunch program called Lunch Bunch. Click here for more info on Lunch Bunch.

Q: What do our children do from 12-1 while camp is closed and other campers go home?

A: We offer a supervised bag lunch program called Lunch Bunch. You will send your camper with a nut-free bag lunch that will be refrigerated at the start of the day. At noon, a Lunch Bunch counselor will collect your camper from his/her group at Windswept and all Lunch Bunch campers will eat together at the shaded picnic tables at Windswept.

Q: What do you do on days the bay is too rough to travel to and from Fair Harbor?

A: If inclement weather prevents our waterfront staff from picking up your camper, we can reimburse you for that day of camp or offer you a makeup day for another week. If you are able to get your child to camp on your own that day, we will be happy to have them! For last minute decisions based on weather, text message will be our primary form of communication.

Mainland Camper FAQ
